Boxing style:  Aggressive.  Enjoys forcing confrontations and making his opponent answer him.  The main drawback to this style is his tendency to get bogged down in slugfests of attrition late in the fight.

Wrestling style: Submission oriented, using every opportunity to wear down his foe.  From the initial test of strength he traditionally offers to open a fight, Spencer will be doing his best to remain attached to the opponent looking for an opening.

Spencer Lockhart was not born a fighter, at least that's how it seemed. Brainy and gangly, the only thing that kept schoolyard bullies at verbal harassment was his family's wealth and the golden rule in f never hitting someone wearing glasses. Everyone, including Spencer, expected his life to carry on that way.

The intelligent boy that he was, Spencer could not deny the advantages for his safety a gym membership would bring. To he delight of his father, he began joining his few mates on their work outs. As time went by, Spencer found his body had a surprising knack for pushing through limits and his strength and body grew.

In an inspired choice, Spencer accepted a random challenge from a fellow gym goer to join him on the wrestling mat. Newbie though he was, Spencer surprised himself with both his ability and enjoyment of the match. He began to wrestle more and more, challenging others as he had been.

The foray into wrestling soon led to the lacing up of boxing gloves, and an entirely new aspect of Spencer was opened. The balance between strategy and aggressive instinct struck a chord in Spencer. So long had he been limited by expectation, the rush of dealing and withstanding the brutal strikes stoked his battle fire further. The rush was incredible.

After much more wrestling and boxing, many black eyes and sore necks, Spencer found himself in a fight without rules. Unlike the challenges he had issued or accepted in the past, this time Spencer found a petty locker room argument erupting into a private brawl behind the gym. For the first time in his life, Spencer saw verbal harassment, not as bullying, but disrespect he could respond to. Spencer did not win that fight, but neither did his rival.

This sealed the deal for Spencer. Between his new passion/fetish/fixation of combat and his family's fortune, he would continue to expand his horizons by challenging all kinds of fighters to any and all kids of battles.
